Experienced in the situations most firms avoid

Turnford Consulting is built for distressed and complex business situations where operational control, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined execution determine the outcome.

How we work and why it matters

Turnford Consulting works at the intersection of operations, finance, and legal process in situations where businesses are under pressure and stakeholders require more than advice. The firm was built around a straightforward principle: that the difference between a managed outcome and a value-destructive one is usually execution. Both principals came to restructuring through operational and technical disciplines, which shapes how Turnford approaches distressed situations, not as financial engineering problems, but as enterprises that can be stabilized, repositioned, and resolved with discipline.

Industries and engagement types

Turnford Consulting has been engaged across a range of industries, including manufacturing and industrial operations, agriculture and perishable goods, food production and distribution, consumer products and retail, marine and commercial fishing, and technology and professional services.

Assignments have included court-appointed receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, operational turnarounds, structured going-concern sales, interim executive leadership, and orderly wind-downs and liquidations.

Leadership

Christopher Wain

Christopher Wain has spent more than three decades leading businesses through distress, transition, and recovery. His experience spans court-appointed receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, interim executive roles including CEO, CFO, and CRO, and operational turnarounds across manufacturing, distribution, technology, and emerging growth companies. Before founding Turnford Restructuring Group in 2014, Christopher led Turning Point Consulting and prior to that ASAI and Ashley Edwards Associates, accumulating a track record of stabilizing underperforming enterprises across the United States, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. His background combines a technical foundation in engineering and operations with hands-on executive leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder situations, giving him the range to step into distressed businesses at any level and move them toward resolution.

Brandon Silva

Brandon Silva brings to restructuring more than two decades of consulting experience, combined with direct experience as a court-appointed receiver and interim executive in distressed and complex business situations. His engagements have included contested joint venture disputes, nonprofit crisis stabilization, and operational turnarounds across real estate, manufacturing, and professional services, with matters involving assets in excess of $84 million. Before focusing on restructuring, Brandon built his operating foundation at leading global management firms, working across supply chain management, manufacturing, organizational restructuring, operational transformation, data analytics, and ERP delivery for global and national enterprises. That background shapes how he approaches distressed situations: understanding that financial recovery depends on operational execution, not just financial restructuring. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
